Homophones: Homophones are words which have the same pronunciation as each other but different spellings and meanings.

e.g.

Air (atmosphere)                     -        Heir (one who inherits property)

Dear (loved one)                      -        Deer (the animal)

Die (expire)                                       -        Dye (color)

Peace (absence of conflict)                -        Piece (a portion)

Weak (not strong)                             -        Week (seven days)

Homonyms: Homonyms are words which have the same spelling and pronunciation as each other but different meaning.

Homographs: Homographs are words which are spelt the same as each other but have a different pronunciation and meanings.
